What they're doing: Due to competing demands on the neighbourhood policing team we have been unable to complete as much speed enforcement work as we would have liked. In October we participated in a multi-agency operation around road safety. Working alongside roads policing and commercial vehicle unit colleagues, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and Bucks Council we targeted offences which contribute to serious and fatal collisions. During the course of the operation numerous offences were identified and drivers reported accordingly and several vehicles were seized. In September we joined forces with our Special Constabulary colleagues and undertook speed enforcement. Two drivers were stopped and reported for exceeding the speed limit on Langley Park Road, Iver. One driver was stopped and reported for exceeding the speed limit on Bells Hill, Stoke Poges. Speed enforcement operations are being planned for the near future.
