Glass, acrylic, tray frames: a few answers
What is museum glass?
A low-reflection glass that cuts glare so the artwork is easier to see. It is often chosen for pieces you want to protect and show at their best.
Should I choose glass or acrylic?
Acrylic is lighter and shatter-resistant, so it suits large frames and busy homes. Glass feels more traditional. We can talk you through it.
What is a tray frame?
A frame with a gap around the edge so a canvas or painting sits inside it. They are made to your measurements.
How long will my framing take?
It depends on the job. Ring with the details and we'll give you an honest idea of timing.
