MOT questions
What happens if my car fails its MOT?
You'll be told exactly what needs fixing, and the garage can usually carry out the repairs so it can be retested.
How long does an MOT take?
Most MOTs take around 45 minutes to an hour, though it can vary depending on how busy the day is.
Can you fix issues found during the MOT?
Yes — as a garage as well as an MOT centre, they can carry out most repairs on the spot.
Do I need to book an MOT in advance?
It's best to ring ahead to check availability, especially if you need it done quickly.
Need an MOT or a repair sorted?
Call the garage to book your MOT or ask about a repair — happy to talk through what's wrong before you bring the car in.
